Where the gifts come from

The gift is a surprise. The shop isn’t.

Your AI picks from a live catalogue — not the open web. Every shop passed two checks before it was listed: a live catalogue we can actually buy from, and a published refund policy.

Examples only. Availability varies by country and stock. Brand names identify examples; no endorsement or partnership is implied. Thousands of independent makers, roasters and studios are held to the same checks.

How it works.

Four steps. Only one is yours: approving a maximum with your passkey.

  1. 01

    Say the sentence.

In any assistant with the connector installed.

  2. 02

    It shops.

Three search phrases and a budget cross the wire.

  3. 03

    You approve.

One passkey tap. Over the cap, it fails.

  4. 04

    The box arrives.

Nothing to track. The receipt’s in your account.

Sealed · a gift for you

Hey ChatGPT, Surprise me. Buy me a real gift from my gift budget. £20 cap. Don't tell me what it is.

Then: your AI picks from everything it already knows about you. You approve the cap and forget about it. The doorbell is the reveal.

Sealed · for someone else

Hey ChatGPT, Buy my sister a gift for her new flat. £25 cap, I'll approve it. Don't tell me what you pick.

Then: you write the brief. Your AI does the choosing. The item stays sealed from you too.

Open · a shortlist first

Hey ChatGPT, Based on what you know about me, find a gift I'd genuinely love that I can buy right now. Show options with prices. I'll pick one and approve it.

Then: a dozen real, in-stock options with names and prices. You point at one. It buys exactly that one, or nothing.

Open · you describe it

Hey ChatGPT, Find a walnut pepper mill under £30 I can buy right now. I'll approve the purchase.

Then: you describe the thing, we find it in stock, you approve the exact price with your passkey.

If your assistant reaches for web search instead of the connector, add “use Agnic Gifts” to the prompt once. Old habits.

The no list

Things that cannot happen

You've heard "AI + your credit card" before. So: every line below is enforced in code and cryptography, not in a prompt.

Set it up

Two minutes, once.

Connect Agnic Gifts to the assistant you already use. Watch someone do it, or follow the steps. Both are below.

  1. 01
Press the button below.Opens the Agnic Gifts listing in ChatGPT’s Plugins store.
  2. 02
Install, then sign in with your email.ChatGPT hands you to Agnic to sign in, then hands you straight back.

You’ll then see a list of permissions. That’s the normal handshake, and it’s the same for every connector. Read it if you like. There’s nothing to change. Just carry on.

  3. 03
Start a chat and ask for a gift.Any of the lines below will do. Nothing is bought until you approve it.

Questions

Asked, answered

Can I see what it picked?

In surprise mode, no. That's the product. Open mode shows you everything first.

What if it's sold out?

Nothing is charged, and it doesn't improvise. Sealed mode moves to the next item on your AI's ranked list; open mode just tells you and asks you to pick again.

Where does the money actually go?

From your card straight to the shop, like any online purchase. Agnic is software; we're not the seller and we never hold your money. The card itself sits in a PCI DSS-certified vault (Very Good Security). Our servers store a token.

Is Agnic a gift shop?

No. Agnic is software, not a retailer — it never stocks, resells or marks up anything. Every gift is sold and shipped by the shop itself; your card is charged by them directly.

What if my gift doesn't arrive, or I want a refund?

That's between you and the shop, under the refund policy it published before it was ever screened. Stuck? Agnic support can step in — your order and receipt stay in your account either way.

Which shops?

Around 4,000 shops across the UK, US, Canada, and Australia, roughly a thousand in each. Every one is screened automatically before it joins the list: a live catalogue we can actually buy from, and a published refund policy. Physical goods only. No gift cards, nothing digital.

Why should I trust this page?

Don't take our word for anything: this is one HTML file and a few photographs, all served from this domain, with no trackers and nothing loaded from anyone else. The one exception is honest about itself: press play on a setup video and YouTube's player loads, but not a byte of it before then. View source; it won't take long. Both Claude and ChatGPT talk to the same address underneath: https://gifts.agnic.ai/mcp.
